USB2.0 Hub Probleme

Hallo erstmal,
habe einen Laptop mit einem USB-Eingang (auch für DSL-Anschluß, da keine LAN-Karte), leider tut´s der Hub mit 4 Eingängen von HAMA (eigenes Netzteil) nicht mit dem Brother MFC 425 und nicht mit dem Modem, wohl aber mit USB-Stick, DVD-Brenner, etc.
Hat jemand eine Idee??
