net send funktioniert auch unter W98 du musst nur pop up oder wie das heisst gestartet haben in W98. Das ist irgendwo im Zubehör versteckt.

Hi,
Start -> Ausführen -> WINPOPUP -> OK
Eine gute Freeware mit mehr Funktionallität ist z.B. RealPopUp
