WinME zum zweiten Mal installieren
Frage
ich habe folgendes Problem.
Ich möchte Windows ME wegen diverser Probleme neu
installieren. Ich gehe wie folgt vor: Ich lege die Product-
Recovery CD-Rom ein, gehe im Explorer auf setup (die
Anweisung des Herstellers sagt: gehe auf windows set up im
Hauptmenue) und es erscheint folgende Fehlermeldung: O-FSC-
EULA.EXE O-FSC-EULALOC.TXT O-FSC-EULA.TXT spawn: no
such file or directory
Wer kann helfen. Danke schon mal

danke erstmal. Aber das habe ich schon probiert, führt mich zum selben Einstiegsmenue mit den selben Folgen wie oben beschrieben. Kann jemand was mit der Fehlermeldung anfangen.

Hallo,
die Eula enthält die Nutzuntgsbestimmungen des Herstellers, diese scheint zu fehlen.
Suche mal auf Deiner Recovery-CD im Verzeichnis Win9x eine Datei namens Setup.exe oder _Setup.exe oder setup1.exe oder ähnlich.
Wichtig!!!! Diese Datei muß genau 5.712 Bytes groß sein und die Versionsnummer 4.90.3000 haben.
Damit hast Du die originale WinME-Installationsdatei.
Danach mit Startdiskette ins DOS booten und direkt hinterA:\> eingeben:
Start Laufw-CD:\Verzeichnis\Name der Datei
also z.B.
start E:\Win9x\_setup.exe
und danach Entertaste drücken.
Dann wird WinME ohne Probleme installiert.

I had also the same problem with :

and I rsolve it like that:
the CD recovery is done to be reboot on CD.
the only thing that you had to do is go in the bios setup in pressing DEL at the boot and saerch the line to setup the first boot and set it up on CD ROM, the second boot on HDD for example.
The important is that your PC boot on CD ROM driver. Put your CD Recovery in CD driver and reboot your PC and the installation will go on without any problem.
