I need help with two problems with new installation of
Windows XP, Service Pack 2 on Dell Inspirion 5100, an old laptop.
I cannot install the modem driver so I need to find drivers on
the net that I can download another computer.
I understand German very well. Is there a FAQ where I can
read up on thesse?

The drivers for these devices are not Installed (Code 28)
- Ethernet controller
- Network Controller
- PCI Modem
- Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
When attempt to reinstall by hand is made using device
manager I get the message Hardware Update Wizard
The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot
find the necessary software.
How do I install the above drivers?

Upon installation of RealTek '97 Multimedia Driver for
- Multimedia Audio Controller
I get a blue screen. This is reproducible.
I can't connect to internet to search for drivers since there
is no modem driver installed.
How do I install the above driver? Which driver would work?
